Chelsea is an award winning scriptwriter and script editor for film and television.

Chelsea worked as both a script editor and scriptwriter on Channel Seven’s HOME & AWAY and Network Ten’s NEIGHBOURS before becoming a regular writer for the ABC hit show THE DOCTOR BLAKE MYSTERIES in 2013, where she received 4 ½ stars from the Herald Sun for one of her episodes. In 2013 she worked as a script assistant for the critically acclaimed television series PLEASE LIKE ME.

After graduating from an Advanced Diploma of Screenwriting, Chelsea went on to work as a script assistant on the Twentieth Century Fox production of WOLVERINE. She sold her first short film IMAGINARY FRIEND to the ABC shortly after, which aired on the ABC over a three year period.

In 2017, her original television concept DOLLS was optioned by Emmy and BAFTA award winning production company Hoodlum and her show RUMBLE SKATE was optioned by Seven Studios. Chelsea has twice received Film Victoria funding for her original mystery series CLOAK which is currently under option with Los Angeles based production company, Atlantic Nomad.

Chelsea’s original scripts have awarded her spots at the Los Angeles’ Scriptapalooza TV Pilot Competition, Tropfest Film Festival, The Hope Awards, Homebrewed Film Festival and Realm of the Senses amongst others.

Chelsea is a full member of the Australian Writers’ Guild and the American organisation Sisters in Crime. She has also worked as a lecturer for RMIT’s Advanced Diploma in Screenwriting, as Development Script Producer at Seven Studios in Melbourne and as a script reader for the Scriptwriters Network in Los Angeles. Chelsea is a graduate of the Writers Homicide School in Las Vegas where she honed her skills as a mystery writer.
