Geoff is a lighting and set designer for theatre.

He is currently the resident designer at the State Theatre Company of South Australia and has designed shows for various companies including MORTIDO, DIVING FOR PEARLS and DANCE CAMP for Belvoir, Force Majeure’s LITTLE BIRD and Adelaide’s Festival’s world premiere of NIGHT LETTERS.

Geoff’s work ranges from smaller productions at the Queens Theatre, Performance Space, Belvoir St, Red Shed and non-theatre venues, to large scale productions, festivals, art exhibitions, live events, museums and venue creation.  Through his company Bluebottle, Geoff has designed lighting installations, public artworks, buildings, landscapes and freeways.

Geoff has produced multiple outdoor events for festivals and in 2010 received the Churchill Fellowship to study outdoor theatre in Europe.  Accolades include the Helpmann Award for Best Scenic Design for LITTLE BIRD, the Ruby Award for Sustained Contribution, a Green Room Award for Best Lighting Design for NIGHT LETTERS, and Best Lighting Design for NEVER DID ME ANY HARM at the 2012 Sydney Theatre Awards.
