2017 Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship awarded to Angela Betzien

The incredible Angela Betzien has been awarded the Myer Creative Fellowship grant for playwriting, along with 9 other creative artists.

The Sidney Myer Creative Fellowships recognise talent and exceptional courage in mid-career artists. Rather than being tied to specific outcomes, the Fellowships provide an income over two years, allowing each Fellow time for creative reflection in which to develop aspects their practice without financial pressure.
