Gideon Obarzanek to choregraph a new work for The Australian Ballet in 2012
Gideon Obarzanek is among several other esteemed choreographers to be included in The Australian Ballet’s season for 2012. The season will have a heavy emphasis on new works, looking both into the past and to the future to commemorate the ballet’s 50th anniversary. Gideon will create a new work for the company, using dancers with little or no experience of classical ballet.
