New 8 Part Series GOLD DIGGERS Commissioned by the ABC with Helena Brooks as Director

The ABC has announced the commissioning of a new 8-part comedy series set in the rough and tumble world of Australia’s gold rush era. Helena Brooks will set up the show as director, and you can look forward to it coming to your screens in 2023. When describing the project, ABC Head of Comedy Todd Abbott said, “If Broad City met Deadwood on a drunken night in a gold mining theme park, it might almost resemble the action-packed, female-first, raucous retelling of history that Gold Diggers promises.”
