Josh Lawson’s THE LITTLE DEATH to have World Premiere at the Sydney Film Festival

Josh Lawson wrote and directed a new feature film, THE LITTLE DEATH.  The film will have it’s world premiere as part of the 2014 Sydney Festival on Friday the 13th and a second screening on Sunday the 15th of June .

THE LITTLE DEATH also features Bojana Novakovic (pictured here acting opposite Josh) as one half of a couple with an unusual bent.

The Sydney Film Festival describes the film thus:

“Actor Josh Lawson (Anchorman 2The CampaignHouse of Lies) brings his comedic skills to bear on his feature-length directorial debut, a funny, honest and moving look at the secret sex lives of ordinary people. A single suburban street reveals a range of desires held by its inhabitants, and the extent to which they’ll go to reach that moment of ecstasy. Some of these fantasies are dangerous, while some lead to unusual circumstances – for instance, a man having an affair with his own wife without her knowledge. In some cases the sexual experimentation spins of out of control, usually leading to hilarious consequences. With a great Australian cast, and a number of hilarious set pieces, The Little Death is extremely entertaining – and laugh-out-loud funny.”
