Yellow now proudly represents Iolanthe!
We. Are. So. Excited.
Yellow now proudly represents Iolanthe, Afro-Caribbean/Australian writer, actor, model and self-proclaimed socialite (non-derogatory) !
Iolanthe is the creator and writer of SISTREN, described in a 5-star review by Suzy Goes Sees as “a work of art distinct for its specificity, one that feels inimitable and therefore completely evanescent.”
SISTREN received 8 nominations at the Sydney Theatre Awards this year, with Iolanthe taking home Best Independent Production and Best Newcomer. She wrote her debut play at the Australian Playwrights Transforms ‘Untold Stories’ residency, premiering in Sydney and selling out before opening night – set to return to Griffin Theatre in April/May. SISTREN also won the 2025 Time Out Award for Best Play and is being adapted for television.
Iolanthe received the Lesley Walford AM Award for Excellence upon graduation from NIDA, and appeared as Kara in SEVEN METHODS OF KILLING KYLIE JENNER (Darlinghurst Theatre Co), Pixie Bunkin in Netflix’s BLACK MIRROR, Debbie in Stan’s HE HAD IT COMING and Nia in THE EDIT (Belvoir 25A.)
