Sarah Scheller‘s THE LETDOWN is making waves on US shores with its accurate depiction of modern motherhood.

The 7-part series launched on Netflix last month to rave reviews, leading a band of US and British shows of the same vein including Catastrophe, Motherland and Smilf.

In an article in the New York Times titled “Nights of the Living Mommies” columnist Alexis Soloski labels THE LETDOWN as a leader in the emerging genre “Mom-Coms” and loved the show so much she “binged all 7 episodes…twice”.
