Elise McCredie’s STATELESS announced at ABC

ABC has announced new television series STATELESS; co created by Cate Blanchett, Tony Ayes and Yellow’s Elise McCredie who will also act as showrunner on the series.

The 6-part series stars Cate Blanchett, Dominic West, Yvonne Strahovski & Fayssal Bazzi.

“The series centers on four strangers — a flight attendant escaping a suburban cult, an Afghan refugee fleeing persecution, a young Australian father escaping a dead-end job and a bureaucrat caught up in a national scandal — who are stuck in an immigration detention center in the Australian desert”

NBC Universal has picked up the series for worldwide distribution.
