Jeremy is a director, producer and writer of film, television and theatre. His feature films have been nominated for 25 AACTA awards.

RAMS, starring Sam Neill, Michel Caton and Miranda Richardson, was a box office and streaming sensation locally and internationally in 2020 and 2021.

Jeremy produced, directed and co-wrote the film adaptation LAST CAB TO DARWIN, starring Michael Caton and Jackie Weaver, which was selected for Toronto International Film Festival 2015. The film was nominated for eight AACTA awards including Best Director and won the AACTA award for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Jeremy directed feature film BENEATH HILL 60 in 2010 starring Brendan Cowell and Bella Heathcote. It was nominated for 11 AFI awards and won one for the Best Young Actor Harrison Gilbertson. Jeremy was nominated for Best Director at the AFI awards, the ADG Awards, the IF Awards and the Film Critics Circle of Australia awards for this film. His first feature film LAST TRAIN TO FREO was nominated for three AACTA awards.

Recently completed television projects include setting up Series 2 of RFDS for Seven Network, a reboot of ROYAL FLYING DOCTOR SERVICE. Jeremy has also directed DOCTOR DOCTOR, A PLACE TO CALL HOME and RESCUE SPECIAL OPS.

WAYNE a feature documentary he made was selected for Melbourne International Film Festival in 2018.

Jeremy is developing BLUEBIRD, a six part limited drama produced by his company Pork Chop Productions in partnership with Fremantle Media.

He is also developing FIGHT OR FLIGHT – THE WOMAN WHO CRACKED THE ANXIETY CODE, a drama series about groundbreaking Australian doctor Claire Weekes, based on the best selling biography “The Woman Who Cracked the Anxiety Code” by Judith Hoare.

Jeremy has been extensively involved in theatre as an actor and director, both locally at STC, Belvoir and MTC, as well as overseas at Trafalgar Studios in London and Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. His Theatre Company Pork Chop Productions broke new ground for Australian independent theatre in the 90’s and toured many shows nationally. Jeremy still works as an actor on selected projects, including in the final season of FX’s MR INBETWEEN, in Philip Seymour Hoffman’s production of RIFLEMIND by Andrew Upton, and the Edinbugh / National Theate Company production of THE SECRET RIVER BY Andrew Bovell.
