Mira Robertson is a screenwriter, script editor/consultant and novelist.

Mira is currently the SBS Script Executive on the forthcoming SBS/Aquarius Films mini-series, THE UNUSUAL SUSPECTS

She script edited the SBS/Closer Productions 4 part drama, THE HUNTING (2019). The award- winning show was the highest ever rating SBS mini-series, with over 4 million views.

Mira’s film script editing credits include Ana Kokkinos’ THE BOOK OF REVEALATION; Jon Hewitt’s feature film X; Rhys Graham’s GALORE ; documentaries by Rhys Graham and Natasha Gadd including WORDS FROM THE CITY and MURANDAK SONG OF FREEDOM, and Scott Millwood’s award-winning documentary WILDNESS.

Mira’s writing credits include ONLY THE BRAVE and HEAD ON, both films co-written with director Ana Kokkinos. These films had successful international releases and won many awards, including an AFI for Best Script for ONLY THE BRAVE, and an AWGIE for Best Adapted Script for HEAD ON. With Scott Millwood, she co-wrote the feature documentary WHATEVER HAPPENED TO BRENDA HEAN? which screened at MIFF in 2008.

Mira’s debut novel, THE UNEXPECTED EDUCATION OF EMILY DEAN was published by Black Inc in 2018.
