Sophie designs sets and costumes for film, television and theatre and regularly styles TVCs, editorial and art shoots.

Sophie designed costume for 2022 series WOLF LIKE ME with Made Up stories and PeacockTV, director Abe Forsythe and starring Isla Fisher and Josh Gad.

Sophie costumed all three seasons of FX television series MR INBETWEEN, directed by Nash Edgerton.

Sophie designed costume for second season of Netflix series THE LETDOWN; feature film ANGEL OF MINE (written by Luke Davies) and feature film ACUTE MISFORTUNE with director Thomas M. Wright.

Sophie designed set and costumes for short films CATTLE directed by Kerinne Jenkins, MEASURING THE JUMP and HOW TO GET CLEAN both directed by Eden Falk, and TRESPASS and FLORENCE HAS LEFT THE BUILDING starring Jacki Weaver both directed by Mirrah Foulkes.

Sophie’s theatre work includes: FEATHER IN THE WEB by Nick Coyle at Griffin, A STRATEGIC PLAN directed by Chris Mead, GLORIA written by Benedict Andrews directed by Lee Lewis, THE LITERATI directed by Lee Lewis, CARESS/ACHE directed by Anthony Skuse, EMERALD CITY directed by Lee Lewis all for the Griffin Theatre Company and BROKEN directed by Shannon Murphy at the Darlinghurst Theatre Company. Sophie co-designed Belvoirs’ THIS HEAVEN.

Sophie was resident props buyer at The Sydney Theatre Company in 2015 and 2016. Sophie worked on productions including THREE SISTERS directed by Kip Williams, SPEED THE PLOW directed by Andrew Upton, ARCADIA directed by Richard Cottrell and THE PRESENT directed by John Crowley. Sophie was assistant to the set and costume designer on Melbourne Theatre Company’s MISS JULIE, and Sydney Theatre Company’s THE MAIDS starring Cate Blanchett, Isabelle Huppert and Elizabeth Debicki and WAITING FOR GODOT.

Sophie has designed for Mercedes Benz Fashion week and is a frequent collaborator with photographers for Vogue Australia’, RUSSH magazine and GQ. Sophie graduated from WAAPA in 2012.
