Anthony Weigh is a playwright and graduate of NIDA whose works have been produced in Australia, North America and Europe. Anthony has been Playwright-in-Residence at the National Theatre of Great Britain and Associate Artist at both the Bush Theatre and Donmar Warehouse in London. He is resident fellow of the Yaddo and MacDowell Artist Colonies in the United States and has taught playwriting at Columbia University’s Graduate School of the Arts in New York City. He is Co-Curator of Stillwright, a yearly series of silent retreats, held in the United States, created by playwrights for playwrights, and open to artists of any genre, built around traditional contemplative practices, designed to make new work and new ways of working.
